ABOUT
Delfina Balda is the vision of NYC-based creative director, Delfina Baldassarre. An Argentinian fashion designer. My internship there was focused on digital design for which I needed to create stories, posts, newsletters, flyers, among others. The main goal was to keep the brand’s aesthetic in each one of my designs which were sophisticated, modern and bold but also simple and clean. Starting with a white canvas, I tried to enhance the brand’s concept of color, while also playing with sounds
I created this story for instagram using after effects to promote Delfina’s Fall/Winter Collection, Heart Speaks.
ANIMATED DRAWINGS
Delfina creates iconic prints with her drawings for all of her collections. One of my responsibilities was to animate these drawings.
Animating Delfina’s drawing was by far the most challenging part of my internship. It felt more complicated than the other animations I made and they also took more time. But with a lot of practice I was able to do it.
I actually did the animation on the bottom (the one with colors) to practice and Delfina ended up liking it so much that she asked me if she could post it.

MOTHER’S DAY
Every year Delfina has a sale on her website the week of Mother’s Day. Last year I was in charge of creating content for Instagram and for the Newsletter to let people know about this discount. So I decided to create some pictures and Animations that could go together. I took some of Delfina’s drawings to combine them with some photos I thought had a mother style. I mainly used photoshop and after effects.

One of the many things I enjoyed learning while working with Delfina was how to create and organize flats. I did the whole Delfina Balda’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection line sheet, for which I illustrated each of the pieces using illustrator and photoshop. Then I organized it all to make it cohesive.
